Cryptopsy hit the road with Aborted

Cryptopsy Intense music for intense audiences: Montreal's Cryptopsy hit the road last week with Suffocation, Aborted and Despised Icon supporting their forthcoming October 18 release Once Was Not. The band's new album has already been touted as "delivering jazz-smattered, flamenco-laced, off-time crushing dominance that is nearly impossible to follow, yet compulsively enthralling" (Explicitly Intense). Already requesting live performances of the yet to be released songs, fans have been making the band welcome every night. "The tour is going extremely well, all the bands get along, and although we have had to reschedule a couple of dates due to the hurricanes, the venues have been packed!" says the band's unstoppable drummer Flo Mounier. "We've been out hitting hard and having a great time every night. It's exciting to talk to fans who have already heard some of the new material, the feedback is already great."

Commenting on their first North American tour, Aborted's vocalist Sven de Caluwé said, "After a hard start, missing the first couple of shows, it's going really well. San Antonio and Houston fans were rabid, and we are looking forward to seeing more of you. The guys in all the bands, Cryptopsy, Suffocation, Despised Icon are really down to earth, and it's a great vibe among us all." Fans will not be disappointed with their crushing live performance.
