San Diego-based extremists CATTLE DECAPITATION have issued the following update:
"We're knee deep in the studio in Oakland, CA recording our new album right now (which is coincidentally directly across the street from the club we're playing at) and will be playing this show [Impaled] as we're finishing up the mixing! Come check it out, we'll play a bunch of new songs for your asses!
As promised, we were able to put together a short clip of us hard at work in the studio! Check out Day One of our studio report!"
Some of the guest musicians are going to be as follows: Jackie Gertz (Giant Squid, Amber Asylum), Dyno (Dystopia), John Weise (Bastard Noise, Sunn0)) Ross Sewage (Impaled), and more.
Kirk Hammett of Metallica was vacationing in Cabo San Lucas and walked into Cabo Wabo while the Mexican band Vitamin T was playing a cover of 'Until It Sleeps'. Hammett walked over and grabbed a guitar and jammed along with the band.
