In an exclusive conversation with The Gauntlet, Across Five Aprils lead singer Brandon Mullins expressed his excitement about his band's just-announced signing to Victory Records. "I'm excited!" said Mullins enthusiastically. "We were searching around for a while for the label that was going to give us better support. It's a better working environment, so we're stoked about that. It's cool to work with a label that wants to give us a leg up. Working with Victory is awesome." The band has a set of dates lined up in August and September to test drive some of the new material and will appear at the Foundry Fest in Missouri on September with Poison The Well and label mates Silverstein.
Across Five Aprils heads into the studio to record it's new album in October and will remain there for some three-and-a-half weeks before embarking on a world tour that will take them to the Europe and beyond.
"We'll be heading to Europe in November or December to play," says Mullins. "That will be right before the record comes out in February." The band is also considering touring both Japan and Australia, likely in a supporting role.
