Skindred NEW YORK, NY-November 8th, 2004-U.K. experimental reggae/rock hybrid Skindred joins forces with Korn, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin and Instruction in what could be the most explosive rock tour this fall. The heavy lineup hits the road on November 10th at the Selland Arena in Fresno, CA and closes out in Dallas, TX on December 10th.

This tour is in support of the band's debut album, "Babylon" released on Lava Records August 2004. Since its release, the album has proven to transcend the traditional routes of a rock album by topping the Reggae album chart in addition to ranking #5 on the Alternative Music Chart, #11 on the New Artist chart and #25 on the Hard Music Chart. And in just 8 weeks time, "Babylon" has scanned over 42,000 units. The album is fueled by the hard-hitting first single, "Nobody" which has garnered big requests at both Alternative and Rock radio surpassing the 6 million in audience mark. Skindred is also maintaining a television profile, recently confirmed to perform on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, while the "Nobody" video remains in solid rotation at MTV2 and Fuse.

British magazine Q describes Skindred's vocalist as a "God fearing black man brought up on the mean streets of Newport on equal doses of Sex Pistols and Max Romeo," while music bible NME describes Skindred's sound as "Bad Brains-style ragga-punk." In other words, picture Sean Paul fronting System of a Down or Bounty Killa rocking alongside the Clash.

Skindred are Benji Webbe on vocals; Mikey Dee on guitar; Daniel Pugsley on bass and Dirty Arya on drums. For more information, go to .
