Static-X Taps Dark New Day Drummer For Tour

Static-X has tapped drummer Will Hunt (Tommy Lee, Dark New Day, Skrape, Stuck Mojo) to fill in for the group's regular skinsman Nick Oshiro while he is recovering from a broken hand. Hunt's first show with Static-X took place Friday night (April 13) in Houston, Texas.

In addition to being a member of Dark New Day, Will Hunt has been playing select dates with Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil. Hunt is no stranger to Motley Crue, having substituted a tendonitis-suffering Tommy Lee last year for some shows on the Crue's "Carnival of Sins" tour. He previously toured the world playing drums in Tommy Lee's solo band.
