The Gauntlet: Warriors, the Metal News

The Warriors Frontman Comments on Working With Motorhead's Lemmy Kilmister

Warriors, the The Gauntlet recently caught up with The Warriors frontman, Marshall Licthenwaldt, to get his take on working with Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead. "It was frickin’ sweet" stated Marshall. "Cameron Webb (Motorhead, Silverstein, Social Distortion) has produced some previous Motorhead albums. We were just playing around with the idea saying it would be cool to have Lemmy Kilmister on a track. Cameron said “What, you want that old man on the album?” Of course we did so Cameron hit him up and Lemmy rolled out and threwdown for us. He came in, had a few drinks and chilled. We thought we’d be waiting on him, but he was waiting on us in the studio. The guy is a pro."

Lemmy lent his vocals to the track 'Price of Punishment' on The Warriors latest CD Genuine Sense of Outrage which was released this week on Victory Records. Also making guest appearances on the album are Lou Koller [Sick of it All] and Andrew Neufeld [Comeback Kid].

The Warriors are currently wrapping up a US tour with Evergreen Terrace and August Burns Red.
