Daft Punk Ask Fans To Tape Gig

Daft Punk Dance duo Daft Punk have recruited their fans to record footage of their concerts to use in a forthcoming release.

The French stars have asked for concert-goers at their sold-out gig in Brooklyn, New York, on Thursday night to volunteer as "DV (digital video) operators" so they can watch the psychedelic light show from their fans' perspectives.

The leaflet given to ticket holders reads, "We're looking for several hundred DV operators attending the show. This footage will be used in the future!"

The One More Time hitmakers made their feature film debut in July with the release of Electronica.
