Metal Blade Records is proud to herald the ongoing chart success of AS I LAY DYING’s brand new release, AN OCEAN BETWEEN US. The band Alternative Press calls “…one of the best pure-metal bands America has to offer” noted last week’s album debut as the highest of their career – and the highest debut in their label’s 25-year history.
The album that is getting rave reviews from publications worldwide scanned nearly 40,000 units its first week out in the USA and landed at #8 on our Billboard Top 200 charts – the highest rock debut on the chart that week! AN OCEAN BETWEEN US is hanging in the Top 40 its second week out, in the USA and Canada, charting at #39 in both countries. Other Top 200 debuts around the world include a #117 debut in the UK and #154 in Japan.
