AEROSMITH Celebrate Five Decades Of Self-Titled Debut Album With New Legendary Edition

Aerosmith marks 50 years of their debut album with a comprehensive Legendary Edition containing new mixes, live performances, and rare tracks.

Aerosmith, the iconic rock band from Boston, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their debut album by releasing a newly curated Legendary Edition on March 20, 2024. This collection includes a 2024 mix freshly remixed by Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, and notable producers, offering a modern take on the original recordings.

The release will come in multiple formats such as a 5LP box set, 4LP slipcase, 3CD set, and various vinyl and digital options. Among the highlights is a limited Collector’s Edition featuring 180g vinyl, unheard studio tracks, a live 1973 Paul’s Mall performance, a hardback book with new interviews, rare photos, and exclusive artwork.

In addition to the remastered album, the boxed set includes previously unreleased jams and rehearsals that provide insight into Aerosmith's early creative process. Tracks like the extended "Joined At The Hip" jam showcase the band's chemistry and foreshadow future hits.

The original Aerosmith album, launched in 1973, eventually earned double-platinum certification and included the enduring classic "Dream On," which has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. This fresh edition celebrates the band's beginnings and their lasting impact on rock music.

Alongside this anniversary release, Aerosmith recently collaborated with Yungblud on the EP "One More Time," securing the band’s presence on the Billboard charts across six decades, further solidifying their legacy.
