Amon Amarth Post Studio Update
AMON AMARTH have started recordings for their sixth full length album at Fascination Street studio (OPETH, SOILWORK) in its home country of Sweden. The band has posted the following studio report on its official website:
"Now we have recorded drums for four songs and everything goes as scheduled. On this recording we tried something new, previously only one guitarist laid down support guitar for the drum recording. This time both Olavi (Mikkonen - guitar) and Johan (Hegg - vocals) plays along with Fredrik (Andersson - drums) all the time, just to create the right tension. Which works excellent! For every hour that goes by we feel that these are the strongest set of songs ever! We also did some rehearsing the other night on some odd extra material that wont be on the album. We took some pictures from the rehearsal!"
