Italian Legendary Heavy Metallers SKANNERS have announced the line-up change, welcoming back the band's former drummer Christian Kranauer, who returns to the line-up permanently after 9 years, while Dave "Pandemonium" Odorizzi, from now on, will dedicate himself entirely to his own band NEREIS.

Stated SKANNERS:
"The Band greets and thanks Dave for the support and contribution given in these 8 years!" .. NEVER GIVE UP! "

Dave "Pandemonium" Odorizzi:
"It was an Honor to play with SKANNERS … I spent 8 wonderful years that allowed me to grow and I enjoyed this time a lot. I leave the band to dedicate myself entirely to my project that I manage since I was a kid, NEREIS. I thank the Skanners and all the fans who supported me over the years "

Christian Kranauer:
"Old loves are never forgotten !!! I am happy to find old friends with whom I can continue a journey interrupted almost 10 years ago."

In 1986 they released the debut LP “Dirty Armada”, in Germany the band won widespread public approval and critical acclaim, becoming pioneers in the New Wave of Italian heavy metal. SKANNERS have shared stages with legends as DEEP PURPLE, IN FLAMES, SAVAGE, DARK FUNERAL, VADER, METAL CHURCH, GIRLSCHOOL, MOTORHEAD, HALLOWEEN, SAXON, MANOWAR, DIO, TWISTED SISTER and many other. SKANNERS’ latest, eighth album (CD/DVD) “Eins Zwei Drei Metal Party Live” came out in 2015 (dedicated to their former guitarist and founding member, Max Quinzio, who died in February of 2014).
