High Reeper Announces East Coast Tour Dates

High Reeper Philly psych-metal unit High Reeper has announced east coast tour dates in support of its new LP 'Higher Reeper' (Heavy Psych Sounds). The week-long trek will launch on September 20 in Northampton, MA and run through September 26 in Holbrook, NY. The itinerary for the live run is as follows:

September 20 Northampton, MA 13th Floor Music Lounge
September 21 Kingston, NY The Anchor
September 22 Albany Pauly's Hotel
September 23 Providence RI Alchemy
September 24 Brooklyn St. Vitus
September 25 New London, CT 33 Golden St
September 26 Holbrook NY Rams American Pub

Over the course of the new LP's eight smoldering songs, High Reeper spreads its wings and delivers ironclad riff rock that's as gnarly as Tony Iommi's severed fingers. Decibel magazine is streaming the album, in full, noting that, "Low ‘n’ slow doom does battle with post-apocalyptic lyrics and the occasional Iron Maiden-style riff throughout the record." Formed in 2016, High Reeper originally united as a studio band, but it would became rapidly apparent that the band's songs were meant to be heard live and loud. On the new album, 'Higher Reeper', guitars crush you like a tank while lyrics that paint a picture of the world nearing its end. Striking cover artwork from SoloMacello (High on Fire, Sleep, Zakk Sabbath) adds to the record's fiery focus.
