STONE SOUR'S COREY TAYLOR TEAMS WITH ALICE IN CHAINS

Stone Sour STONE SOUR's COREY TAYLOR joined Alice In Chains onstage at Saturday's (10/7) 99.5 Fan Fest show at Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in San Antonio, TX to sing lead vocals on the AIC classic "Would?" as thousands of fans cheered them on.

Next up for STONE SOUR, they'll embark on the "Music As A Weapon Tour" with Disturbed in November. Meanwhile, the band's debut single "Through Glass" has been #1 at Mainstream and Active Rock for five weeks, marking the first #1 single in the band's career. The song is also #4 on Billboard's Modern Rock tracks chart and the video can be seen on MTV2.

STONE SOUR--lead vocalist COREY TAYLOR and guitarist JAMES ROOT (both of whom do double duty in multi-platinum, Grammy winners Slipknot), bassist SHAWN ECONOMAKI, guitarist JOSH RAND and new drummer ROY MAYORGA-are touring in support of their second album COME WHAT(EVER) MAY, which entered the Billboard album chart at #4. As the follow-up to their four-year-old debut album--which was twice Grammy-nominated, certified gold and contained the huge rock hit "Bother"--Come What(ever) May is filled with volatile songs that mix heaviness with sharp hooks. The songs question the motives of false prophets (the title cut), tear apart hypocrisy ("Silly World"), examine hollow celebrity culture ("Through Glass") and smash complacency ("30/30-150," "Hell & Consequences").
