The Gauntlet: Slipknot Metal News

Slipknot percussionist issues update

Slipknot (2008) SLIPKNOT percussionist Shawn "Clown" Crahan has issued the following update:

"Get ready maggots! It's been 10 years and in that 10 years of sacrifice we're finally able to bring what is Slipknot to Australia - the real set, the real deal. Hydraulic drums and percussion rigs, massive set, explosions, lights and more. We're on fire and out for blood."

This will mark the first time in the band's history that they are bringing their full rig to Australia. That means the band is traveling with over 11 tons of equipment. That includes Joey's hydraulic riser that raises him 15 feet in the air and flips him onto his back, Clown and Chris's hydraulic risers, and of course lots and lots of pyro everywhere they can get away with it!
