Metallica plays Moscow
On July 18th, Metallice gave its second concert at Luzhniki sports complex in Moscow as part of its European tour Sick Of The Studio '07. The band's first concert in the Russian capital took place in 1991, together with AC/DC and PANTERA. More than 3,000 police officers kept the peace at yesterday’s concert that started at 8pm and finished at 11pm. The police have reported that 160 arrests were made of drunken individuals. According to the organizers of the concert, nearly 62,000 tickets were sold.
