The Gauntlet: Metallica Metal News

New Metallica Album in September

Metallica METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich has just announced that the group's follow-up to 2003's "St Anger" will be released this September. The band is currently recording the as-yet-untitled record in Los Angeles with producer Rick Rubin. As usual, they will take a break this Summer to play several festival dates.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Ulrich said: "We're just finishing up a record, we've got six weeks left and it should be out in September, that's the idea right now."
