Rage Against The Machine: 'George Bush Should Be Tried As A War Criminal'

Zack De La Rocha Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack De La Rocha has called the US president George W Bush to be tried as a war criminal. De la Rocha's comments came during the band's headlining set at the T in the Park Festival in Scotland last weekend.

Addressing the crowd, he said: "They said we had said George Bush should be assassinated. We did not say that. We said he should be tried for being a war criminal."

De La Rocha added that the US government was now afraid of the people who had elected them.

"If in protest to their war you burn down the American embassy...it's up to us, generation after generation to beat the system which perpetuates war. Wake up,” he said.

If you bothered to READ what he said he is not asking for impeachment...he wants him tried as a WAR CRIMINAL... which is exactly what he is! And although Bush is almost gone...another idiot is waiting in the wings...JOHN MCCAIN. And we've already proven to the world that their are enough bible thumping gun toting inbreds in America to get him elected! Get out and vote Metalheads! It's up to you

Who the hell's gonna impeach him now when the damn election's in four months? Hold your damn horses people..we're almost rid of that nasty, hairy Bush.

Bush is undeserving of Death...Its obvious hes gotten away with everything in his life time....and its time he pays like the rest of the criminals in the United States.... behind bars. Why are we the "PEOPLE" afraid to use our vocies and votes. IMPEACH HIM I SAY AND TRY FOR TREASON!!!

I agree with De La Rocha. Senitor Bush has not done anything good. Just bulling our friends and giving himself and his friends more money. Bush is the American Devil! No one wants to assinate him because then all we have is Cheney! Oh God No!

The New Jersey punk trio Buzzkill was originally known as Butthead when they formed in 1990, but had to change their name two years later when MTV's Beavis & Butthead became a massive success. Ironically, MTV also had a grunge/alt-metal show called Buzzkill, which aired during the mid-'90s.
