Highly Suspect has done their homework and it rocks

Highly Suspect Fresh off of three Grammy Nominations (Best Rock Song) from the album 'The Boy Which Cried Wolf' The cape cod trio headed by lead singer Johnny Stevens and twin brothers Ryan and Rich Meyers (Bass and drums,) Highly Suspect is clawing their way into our hearts with their well thought Massachusetts born deep bass guitar chords and young approach on the art of heavy metal.

Far from the Stereotypical emo vibe and well versed in 90's and early 2000 rock the group used to cover Pink Floyd, Sublime. Highly Suspect even covered the late great legend Jimi Hendrix. They have gone on to play for 10,000 people and I definitely would say moving to Brooklyn was the right move. Their song 'human' doesn't exactly give me a violent thrasher feel but the feeling of glass that has been shattered and swept into a nice pile and is being now blown around by a random gust of hurricane wind.

Billy was written for a close friend who committed suicide. The songs they create will definitely shred your heart to pieces with lyrics like 'I'm cornered in the fire , so break out the secrets,' how could one not relate to such passion and pain. Especially now on the brink of WW3 we need a great soundtrack to mute the thoughts of becoming radioactive compost eh? Here's a cool fact, they are Anti Trump. No one is ever gonna be alright with the idea that life might change as we know it, but I don't think Highly Suspect gives a shit and making you understand the inner struggle of humanity is the most important thing right now.
