Phil Anselmo, Members of Cattle Decapitation, Pig Destroyer, Recruit Adam Jarvis for Scour

The extreme metal supergroup featuring Phil Anselmo and members of Cattle Decapitation, Pig Destroyer, known as Scour has recently recruited Misery Index’s Adam Jarvis as its drummer.

Jarvis will take the stage with Scour on June 14th at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, New York.



Scour’s self-titled EP was released last July on Anselmo’s own Housecore record label; the album was mixed by Dave Otero.

"Doing the SCOUR project was a blast,” Anselmo said. The track 'Dispatched' was the first one I attacked, as it was the first one sent to me. Lyrically, I leave it to the listener to evaluate, as usual. The way I saw it, the songs were short, and extremely straight-forward, so I didn't want to clutter 'em up with too much. Therefore, I had to pick particular lyrics that seemed provocatively absurd enough, and to perform them as raw as deemed fit."
