Papa Roach's THE PARAMOUR SESSIONS DEBUTS AT #16

Led by the band's latest radio hit "'To Be Loved" Papa Roach's new album The Paramour Sessions is the #16th best selling album in America debuting on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart today. In a number of big U.S. markets the album debut was even higher (#5 Sacramento, #5 Orlando, #9 Minneapolis, #13 in Los Angeles, #10 Las Vegas).
Lead singer Jacoby Shaddix commented, "We want to say thank you to our fans. It's fantastic that so many of them ran out and bought the album so quickly."
The Paramour Sessions is the fourth major label album from Papa Roach, as well as the fourth consecutive one to debut in the Top 20 on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart. With the high debuts of all four albums, Papa Roach are firmly establishing themselves as one of the undeniable success stories of the last decade.
Since the release of their major label debut album back in 2000, Papa Roach have released three albums: Infest, lovehatetragedy, and Getting Away with Murder, selling over 10 million copies of those titles combined. The band has now scored nine consecutive hit singles on the charts and six Top 10's including "Broken Home," "She Loves Me Not," "Last Resort," "Getting Away with Murder," "Scars," and now "'To Be Loved."
Later this week Papa Roach will command the stage with Guns ‘N' Roses, Muse and Avenged Sevenfold among others at this year's KROQ Inland Invasion in Los Angeles on September 23rd at the Hyundai Pavilion.
The guys kicked off the release of The Paramour Sessions with national television performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live and CD:USA. This week, you'll be able to catch them being interviewed on CNN, Extra and Access Hollywood discussing why they feel The Paramour Sessions is the best album they've ever made.
A 12 city European tour will begin for Papa Roach on September 28th in Dublin, Ireland and the band will return to the U.S. with HIM beginning on October 18th in Lowell, MA. In November, Papa Roach will headline this year's Zippo Hot Tour. Dates for the Zippo Hot Tour will be announced shortly.
