Malta’s Beheaded Announces Fifth Full-Length Studio Album

Beheaded Celebrated Brutal Death Metal outfit, Beheaded, announced the impending release of their fifth full-length album, Beast Incarnate, early next year on Unique Leader Records.

The new album features eight crushing tracks and features cover art from Gabriel Alegria Sabogal.
“The driving force behind Beast Incarnate was to create a milestone for Mediterranean Death Metal by cementing and defining the essence of Beheaded’s signature sound,” the band said.

“Beast Incarnate can be considered the pinnacle of [our] history, [as it echoes] the eerie old-school melodies and blasphemous poetry of the 1998 album Perpetual Mockery. [The album] is infused with technical elements of the 2005 album Ominous Bloodline, which makes this album an indisputable successor to Never To Dawn...The Horror breathes and The Beast is among us.”

Beheaded was formed in Malta in 1991. The band’s sound sent a shockwave of brutality throughout the Metal scene, as they masterfully combined a blistering assault of Death Metal and Grindcore to amass a truly searing sonic experience.
Beast Incarnate will be released on January 27th, 2017 on Unique Leader Records; pre-orders at the label’s site will be available soon.

“The Horror Breathes,” the second track off the album, can be heard over at the Unique Leader Bandcamp page at HERE.
