Fans Pay Tribute to Lemmy Outside the Rainbow in LA


Lemmy always said to staff and friends while he was hanging out at the Rainbow, which he probably did every day he was not recording or touring, that his greatest fear was not death but being forgotten.

Well that's not likely to happen for quite a while. However an even more permanent guarantee that he will not be forgotten - at least by patrons and passers by of LA's Rainbow Bar and Grill - is being constructed.

At a cost of some $40,000 a large statue of Lemmy is being erected just outside the legendary venue.
