VENOM PRISON HAUNT AUDIENCES WITH 'CELESTIAL PATRICIDE' MUSIC VIDEO

Death metal outfit VENOM PRISON return with a second heaping of their aural strike against oppression and cultural stigmas with the vicious single "Celestial Patricide" taken from their full-length debut album "Animus." Scheduled for release on October 14 via Prosthetic Records worldwide, VENOM PRISON completed the recording of "Animus" with Tom Dring (Dragged Into Sunlight, Electric Wizard) at Vagrant Recordings. The album's cover art, showcased below, was completed by German artist Eliran Kantor (Testament, Sigh) in close coordination with vocalist Larissa Stupar to capture it's themes. Stupar expands, "The album’s lyrics capture and portray various forms of fighting an oppressive force. One of them struck Eliran’s eye as the most livid out of them all. In Perpetrator Emasculation a rapist is being force-fed his own genitalia. It’s not a secret that death metal art and lyrical content often involve violence against women and we liked the idea of turning the tables. That lyrical segment depicts the title and theme of the record very well and the visual execution makes your flesh crawl with vengeance."
