DEATHWISH release new video.

The Precipice' is a blistering track that easily showcases where the band is taking their sound on their forthcoming release. The influence of highly respected, long established heavyweights like Lamb of God and A Life Once Lost is evident, but Deathwish definitely maintain their own sound and the new material will help to establish them as a force to be reckoned with in modern metal.
Deathwish are currently busy working on finishing up their forthcoming album, which will be released independently. No official release date has been set, but the band are aiming for a Fall release. Updates and links to pre-order will be posted on the band's official website and social media outlets soon.
The guys in Deathwish prefer to keep it simple and refer to themselves as a metal band, as they don't want to pigeonhole themselves into any specific sub-genre. The band definitely take a barebones approach to writing and focus on harnessing the raw aggression that exists within extreme music. At its core, Deathwish is a group of like-minded individuals devoted to establishing their own sound and style, while paying homage to the pioneers and legends who came before them.
Deathwish were the winners of the 2016 Limelight Music Awards 'Metal/Hardcore Act of the Year' and were subsequently featured in the Providence Journal back in April of 2016. The band will take the stage again this fall as local support for the Soilwork/Unearth Fury Tour this fall as part of the Providence Metal Fest 3.
