Rammstein to release new single June 1

RAMMSTEIN announces a June 1 release date in the US for their third single, "Haifisch" ("Shark"). The five-track single will be available exclusively on iTunes and the tracks will also be available for purchase individually.

The Berlin-based band released their critically acclaimed sixth studio album, LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA, last fall which has currently sold over one million copies worldwide. The video for "Haifisch” premiered last month at the band's MySpace page http://www.myspace.com/rammstein. The clip was filmed at Schloss Marquardt outside of Berlin, Germany with director Joern Heitmann.

This summer Rammstein is performing in front of millions of fans at festivals across Europe and Canada. Current dates are included below and ticket information can be found at http://www.rammstein.com.

LIEBE IST FUR ALLE DA, arrived in stores on 10/20/09 through a marketing and distribution arrangement with Vagrant Records and Universal Music Germany. The album was produced by Jacob Hellner and Rammstein with recording done at Northern California's Sonoma Mountain Studio. In the U.S. the album entered the Billboard Charts at #13 - the highest chart entry for the band in the United States ever.
