Next Rammstein album may surprise fans

Rammstein In the U.K. based ezine contactmusic.com, twisted German inustrial rockers RAMMSTEIN disclosed details on their forthcoming album. The new album will showcase a collaboration with Sharleen Spiteri from TEXAS, and is said to be influenced by Coldplay.

Rammstein's new full-length will also feature a Mexican Mariachi band. Singer Till Lindemann comments, "Mexican trumpet just seemed like a good idea. On (our last album) REISE, REISE we had a country moment and the reaction was so positive we were encouraged to go on experimenting and try more unusual stuff.

"We draw inspiration from whatever catches our ears. If you step in other people's footsteps you won't leave a trace."

Band members also stated they have been listening to a lot of ColdPlay lately, hence the influence on the next album.
