RAMMSTEIN responds to German media

Rammstein Rammstein are taking the offensive against critics in the German media that believe that the track "Mein Teil" takes things a bit far with it's cannibalistic theme as the timing of the release coincided with a prominent trial concerning a man that was convicted of muredering and cannibalizing his gay partner.

Rammstein vocalist TILL LINDEMANN responded with the following comments...

"A lot of German critics found it very tasteless. But we like provocation - we feel that's our job.

German people are very sensitive about their own history and the way the world sees them, like, 'Oh the whole world's going to think we like eating other men now?'

It's like the abuse of children in the States. No-one thinks all Americans are paedophiles, but art and music always reflect the worst in society."
