KNAC.COM's Junkman just filed this report on his trip to Metal Skool last night:
"A wild night at Metal Skool Monday At the Key Club in Hollywood! After an appearance earlier in the evening featuring Stephen Pearcy doing acoustic versions of Ratt songs, Metal Skool were joined onstage by Alice in Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell for a rockin version of "Man in the Box". This, followed by ex-Pantera singer Philip Anselmo joining the band for a killer take on the Pantera classic Walk". Plus, on drums, The Rev from Avenged Sevenfold. The crowd went absolutely ballistic!
All this after a midget versus topless-chick crowd surfing race, as well as a kamikaze-serving fairy descending from the rafters. Add lots of alcohol, and many bared breasts, and, as you can imagine, a good time was had by all.
METAL SKOOL RULES!
