The Gauntlet: Avenged Sevenfold Metal News

Avenged Sevenfold Posts Full Version of New Song

Avenged Sevenfold 2007 Orange County rockers Avenged Sevenfold have posted the full version of the new song, entitled "Critical Acclaim", online at this location.

Vocalist M. Shadows has issued the following update via the band's Myspace page:

"As we got off the plane Saturday morning we noticed all the positive feedback from the "Critical Acclaim" clip. But, we didn't feel right not letting you hear the full song in its entirety. This album is the greatest piece of works we've made so we don't want to leave you hanging with a two minute clip so without further ado here it is in full. Enjoy."

"Critical Acclaim" comes off the group's upcoming self-titled album, which is set for release on October 16th. The album, which is the follow-up to their 2005 breakthrough release, 'City Of Evil', is the band's first attempt at self producing.

'Avenged Sevenfold' track listing:

01. Critical Acclaim
02. Almost Easy
03. Scream
04. Afterlife
05. Gunslinger
06. Unbound the Wild Ride
07. Brompton Cocktail
08. Lost
09. A Little Piece of Heaven
10. Dear God
