King Diamond Bassist Fired

King Diamond, who recently announced a North American Tour for this Fall, has fired long time bassist Hal Patino.

In an announcement on Facebook, King stated: "Hal Patino has been relieved of his duties with King Diamond, for reasons very similar to why he was fired from the band in 1990. This will have NO negative impact on our upcoming shows whatsoever. On the contrary."

Patino is expected to make a statement on the situation later today.
