Andrew W.K. Announces The Party Hard Holiday Tour

Andrew W.K. will be celebrating the holidays this year by embarking on The Party Hard Holiday Solo Tour. In what has become a tradition over recent years, the king of partying will celebrate the merriest of time of the season with a series of intimate solo shows. What first began as just an east coast run has now been expanded to include west coast dates as well. Up-close, intense, and partier than ever, these cozy bars and clubs will be packed to the rafters with good cheer! Following the solo shows, W.K. will ring in the New Year with a full-band concert on December 31st, performing the entirety of his classic album, I Get Wet, at New York’s Irving Plaza. The December shows cap off a truly legendary year for the ambassador of partying. In addition to his own solo tours, and full-band one-offs, W.K. spent the better part of this past summer opening for the mighty Black Sabbath for the entire North American tour as their special heavy metal DJ. He also toured the world singing with punk drumming icon, Marky Ramone, with his Blitzkrieg band. In between all of that, W.K. found the time to break a world drumming record after manning a kit in NYC’s Times Square for 24 hours. The mega-drumming session was live-streamed in its entirety by MTV during its O Music Awards and saw W.K. joined by high-caliber guest drummers such as ?uestlove (The Roots), Nick Jonas (The Jonas Brothers), and Chad Smith (The Red hot Chili Peppers), as well as an impromptu appearance from Oscan winning actor, Cuba Gooding Jr., and celebri-cat Lil Bub.

2014 promises to be an even bigger year for W.K., who’s currently writing his first book, The Party Bible, after signing an exclusive publishing deal with Simon & Schuster. The Party Bible promises to be a self-help guidebook for generations to come, giving readers insight into mankind’s purpose on earth, through the lens of hard partying – the book is a celebration of existence and Andrew’s personal manifesto.
