The Gauntlet: Anthrax Metal News

Totally Pathetic Music Video: "Nothing" by Anthrax

Anthrax I can just imagine the conversation between Elektra and the band when discussing the video for this song:

"Hey guys, we're not giving you a big budget for a video this time around. We've got some stock footage of a farmer and a cow, you'll have to find some way to use it... it's all you're getting."

So Anthrax did what was only logical... ripped off "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids." Sadly, there is no Rick Moranis cameo. Oh, and the song sucks too.

Yeah, Sad, Very sad. The only two tracks with B ush that I thought were decent are "Only" & "Potters Feild". It's a shame that They would release such dog shit, and I liked Anthrax too.

oh, i get it... the cow has anthrax... yea, that video would have been better without the cow. the song would have been better without anthrax. that did suck.

Not very powerfull. I am stuck in the 80's.

Although I must admit the songs that they did with Dimebag weren't all that bad.

Anthrax was damn near dead after Joey left the first time anyways. Pretty much everything after that era sucks balls.

John Bush is trying hard to look like some kind of grunge band frontman in this clip. Was he trying to appeal to the Candlebox contingent? What I want to know is, who greenlit this video?

This song is so good that I can't hear it

The story line of ex-Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider's 1998 horror movie, Strangeland, was based on the track "Horror Teria (The Beginning)," off Twisted Sister's 1984 release Stay Hungry.
