SCOTT IAN PERFORMS WITH PEARL, JOINS METAL SKOOL ONSTAGE
Key Club's resident heavy-metal comedy act, METAL SKOOL, had the pleasure of having SCOTT IAN (of ANTHRAX) and his latest project, PEARL, open for them last night. Named for the band’s lead singer, Pearl Aday – Scott’s longtime girlfriend who also happens to be MEAT LOAF’s daughter – Pearl is Scott’s foray into blues-based rock territory. Boasting sing-along choruses and more hooks that your local bait shop, Pearl is a modern interpretation of Heart’s female-fronted stadium rock.
Later in the night Metal Skool were joined on stage by Scott and Pearl as well as JUICY J (of Oscar® award-winning THREE SIX MAFIA), STEVE-O (“Jackass”), and comedian BRIAN POSEHN (“Mr. Show”).
