Narrow House Post Studio Diary

Narrow House is a Ukrainian metal band which was started in 2009 as an atmospheric funeral doom project, providing a unique musical and psychological experience for local underground scene. The band has performed with Skepticism, Cemetery of Scream, Apostate, Mournful Gust, Stoned Jesus, and other significant doom metal acts during this time.

The first album of the band titled "A Key to Panngrieb" was published in 2012 by Solitude Productions, one of the biggest doom metal labels in the world. It was well received by the audience, making it an extremely promising start for Narrow House.

After completing the debut album, band took a new musical direction, combining various doom metal subgenres (traditional, stoner, funeral etc.) into completely unpredictable mix.

"Thanathonaut" is the latest work of the band. It's being tracked, mixed and mastered at the famous Ukrainian Morton Studio. The releases produced by this studio have been published by AFM Records (Germany), Spinning (Japan), BlueFreya (Australia), The Leaders (Greece), BadMoodMan Music (Russia), Moon Records (Ukraine) etc, and are being distributed worldwide by EMP, Nuclear Blast and other global retailers.

The artwork for this album was created by French photographer and digital artist Christophe Dessaigne. His illustrations have been used for covers of many books including works of Stephen King, Agatha Christie, Margaret Atwood and other well-known writers.

“Thanathonaut” promises to be an original album featuring many instruments unusual for metal music, including live saxophone, cello, and double bass. The track list of the album will consist of 10 songs.

To promote "Thanathonaut" the band has already started to publish studio video diaries called "Thanathonaut Recording Chronicles". The first issue of these diaries can be found on bands YouTube channel:
