Metallica Adds Second Shanghai Date

Metallica 2013 METALLICA have announced a show in Shanghai, China, on August 14th.

The band checks in: "A giant thank you to all of you who have made our first visit to China a sold out show! So we are very excited to announce that a second night has been added on August 14th. Pre-sale tickets go on sale this Monday, July 8th at noon local time and you will be able to reserve your seat then through the same outlets. Again a limited number of tickets are being held for Met Club members. Information on how to purchase them will be posted in the Members Only area soon.

It is so rare for us to be able to say that we are visiting a country for the very first time, so this is an extra special announcement for us. After over 31 years of traveling to almost all corners of the world for so many amazing, wild and thrilling adventures, we will finally be heading to China!! We’ll be hitting the stage in Shanghai at the Mercedes-Benz Arena on August 13th."

Earlier this week, Metallica issued the following tour update: "We've said it before... with more than 30 years of traveling around the world behind us, there are very few places that we have yet to explore. So it's rather thrilling for us to be back with yet another first, a stop in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on August 21 at Stadium Merdeka.

Tickets for this show go on sale at 11:30 am local time on Saturday, July 6 at Fahrenheit 88 Shopping Mall in Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. Look for the Galaxy Ticket Booth located on the Ground Floor near the Information Counter in the Concourse area of the Mall.
