Mushroomhead will appear live on Cleveland's WMMS on Friday, August 11, 2006, at 6pm (est) to world premiere the first song from the forthcoming Savior Sorrow album.
The new MUSHROOMHEAD album Savior Sorrow will be released on September 19, 2006. It was produced by Steve Felton and Mushroomhead at Cleveland's Filthy Hands Studios in April 2006. Mushroomhead's prior release, XIII, entered the Billboard Top 200 at #40 and went on to sell 400,000 copies worldwide.
"It's a new chapter in MUSHROOMHEAD's evolution. There are sounds on this album that sound so brutal and huge. The album is quite diverse, yet retains a Mushroomhead feel. Lyrically, it definitely reflects where the world is at this moment in time," says drummer Skinny.
The visionary masked band combines theatrics with a mixture of rock, metal and atmospheric elements. The first single will hit radio in mid-August. The band will begin a world tour starting September 20, 2006.
