SOCIETY 1 Posts Images From Video Shoot

Earlier this week Society 1 filmed a new video for the song 'Lifeless' in downtown Los Angeles. The video that was directed by Matt 'The Lord' Zane (also vocalist for the band) and co-directed by Noah Raskin is the first track off of the new EP 'Screams Of Sadist' that will be released to the public.

"Zane as had done a few video's for Wayne Static, Orgy and most recently some work for Zakk Wylde so it made sense to have him direct the video. Why go to someone else when you can have the guy that wrote and sang the lyrics bring the music to life visually?" said Brian 'The King' Jackson (Guitarist)

Zane performed in the video but also served as the director and DP.

“When I wasn't in the shots I actually operated the camera and filmed the band. Between lighting the sets, performing and shooting it was a hectic and insane day. I don’'t know if I will try that again but it was a great challenge and I’m pleased with what we captured." said Zane

With the video shot the process of editing will also be taken on by Zane but will have to wait until later next week after the band returns from their first headlining shows with the new line up in Modesto, CA and Las Vegas NV March 8th and 9th.
