Charlie Benante To Skip ANTHRAX Tour


Charlie Benante (mugshot 2012) As Anthrax gets read to head to Australia for the Soundwave festival dates, they will be doing so without drummer Charlie Benante. Charlie is "dealing with personal issues right now and can't leave" the U.S. according to Scott Ian.

Filling in for Benante will be Jon Dette [Animetal, Testament, Slayer].

Dette is “an animal,” Ian says, who is “going to make history” as a temporary replacement Charlie.
