Megadeth wants "top metal bands"
MEGADETH's Dave Mustaine has issued the following announcement:
"I want to ask for a list of the top metal bands to put on my show. Let's figure out a way to make a list of the top 10 or top 100 for all I care, but make sure that it's cool stuff and not obscure crap that I wouldn't listen to.
I want to make a radio station in the US that will be hard to turn off. Kinda like the old KNAC was. Of course I have very bizarre musical tastes, and some of those songs will never see a playlist on the show, but that doesn't mean I won't talk about them.
I am going white-water rafting today for a short vacation and will be ready to start going over music that I picked and suggestions that y'all make when I return; if I am not in a body cast.
Lastly, I want to thank again the lovely She-Wolf who gave me the Irish Army medals and patches when I was in Ireland recently. I just discovered them again (they slipped into a small box of valuables) and I was thinking how fortunate I am to have fans that do things like this for me. So, thank you and God bless you for taking your finances and spending them on me.
