The Gauntlet: Megadeth Metal News

Gigantour Lineup To Be Announced Soon

Megadeth MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine has issued the following update:

"Droogies!

I mentioned over at the Gigantour site that there is a new site that is going to be developed with your help to connect with me and the band and make your experience even that much cooler than before. Although I posted that here a while ago, I am making sure that the Gigantour part of my last post over there is not overlooked. I doubt that anything related to overlooking is going to be possible this year.

And I talked with the North American Talent Agent for Gigantour and for Megadeth about the announcement of our tour line-up for Gigantour 2008 in the US, Canada, and Good Lord willin', down with my friends in Mexico, ole!

So mark your calendars and come back regularly to see updates on what the exact time is after the New Year for the official announcement, and revealing the line-up and official artwork for Gigantour 2008 North America, which will no doubt be leaked, due to the incredible excitement over the line up."

As reported earlier today, Megadeth, LAMB OF GOD, OPETH, OVERKILL, THE SMASHUP, INTO ETERNITY, SANCTITY and ARCH ENEMY are among the artists set to be featured in the Gigantour 2 DVD due to be released on April 22, 2008 via Image Entertainment. The tracklisting is as follows: 'Rachel's Day' (The Smashup), 'Zeppo' (Sanctity), 'Timeless Winter' (Into Eternity), 'Thanks For Nothing' (Overkill), 'Nemisis' (Arch Enemy), 'We Will Rise / Bridge' (Arch Enemy), 'Window Pane' (Opeth), 'Vigil' (Lamb of God), 'Red Neck' (Lamb Of God), 'Something To Die For' (Lamb Of God), 'Take No Prisoners' (Megadeth), 'The Scorpion', (Megadeth) and 'Washington Is Next' (Megadeth).
