The Gauntlet: Machine Head Metal News

Machine Head Video Debut on MTV2 Headbangers Ball

Machine Head Inspired by half/witted journalist William Grim, who criticized Dimebag Darrell and the metal music community for mourning his death, in his article: Aesthetics of Hate: R.I.P. Dimebag Abbott, & Good Riddance. MACHINE HEAD’s track ‘Aesthetics of Hate’ is the rebuttal, singer, Robb Flynn’s lyric, ‘I hope you burn in hell' clearly denotes the shared view of the metal community to one, William Grim and the neo-conservative website The Iconoclast, that propagated his hatred. The music video for ‘Aesthetics of Hate’ off of the band’s latest release ‘The Blackening’ (March 2007 / Roadrunner) will debut on Saturday, May 5, 2007….on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball (airs 10:00pm EST).
