The Gauntlet: Tool Metal News

Tool Frontman Talks On New Side Project

Tool Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan has a new side-project called Puscifer, which he refers to as his "creative subconscious". He recently spoke to Metal Hammer UK and commented on the project:

Keenan: "I'm working on a few more pieces with a few different humans. It will be quite some time before I get anywhere with them. One track with Lustmord, possibly one with Timmy C (Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine), Brad Wilk (Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine), and Johnny Polonsky. Just ran into Tim Alexander (Primus) and he sounds like he's interested in doing a track as well. I've approached Evil Joe B to produce and engineer once I have enough of a track in place, and may approach Botrill or Mulder for one of the others. In the meantime Matt Mitchell, our guitar tech, is engineering while we're on the road. One bit at a time."
