SCUM OF THE EARTH Post Lyric Video
SCUM OF THE EARTH (@scumoftheearth) recently shot a video for "The Devil Made Me Do It III," the first single from their forthcoming album, THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT. The song is being serviced to radio stations nationwide on July 23. Due out August 28 on the Chicago-based Goomba Music, Inc. label (with distribution through eOne in North America), the album was produced by horror-rocker and band mastermind RIGGS, along with Volkstoker, and recorded at “Scum HQ” in Branson, MO. While fans wait for what's sure to be a perfectly horrifying piece of video art (coming later this month), they can check out a lyric video for the song on the band's official YouTube page below. RIGGS is the artist behind the images seen in the clip, along with Jorge A. Gwooki who created the zombies. Most of the artwork will be part of THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT CD booklet.
"The Devil Made Me Do It III" video was shot in Ft. Lauderdale FL at The Native Village, which is where part of "Jackass 3D" was filmed. It was directed by Tim King (SOiL bassist and Director of A&R at Goomba Music, Inc.). Viewers will get exactly what they expect (and more) from SCUM OF THE EARTH, including live snakes, RIGGS in an alligator pit, zombie voodoo girls, fire breathers, lots of blood, and wild animals.
Stay tuned for news about the official release of “The Devil Made Me Do It III” video.
