FUNERAL Issue Drummer Health Update

Norway's doom metallers FUNERAL have issued the following brief update on drummer Anders Eek previously announced health scare:

"Just a little update from your friendly neighbourhood gravediggers!

First a little about Anders' condition: It was NOT a heart attack, but something called an Atrioventricular block. It involves the impairment of the conduction between the atria and ventricles of the heart.

And then for some good news! We would like to congratulate Mats, who became a father on Sunday! We hope that his newly born daughter will become an excellent musician one day!”
