TAPROOT has issued the following update:
"For those of you who have been reading our blog for the past year, you may remember a little comment I made back in March 2007 when we finally started working with our new producer and I joked you could expect our album in January 2008. Well, here we are February 2008 and you guys are still waiting patiently, right?... RIGHT?!?! Okay, maybe not so patiently, but things are moving forward.
"The album is officially complete, mixing and mastering are finished. From here we are shopping the album around to various labels and seeing what our best options are. As usual in the music business, things are taking longer than expected, but that's because we're trying to put out the best product we can.
"I look back on my previous entries and realize I didn't take this fact into account.
"I think we're finally at the point where you can actually start getting excited about the upcoming release of the album (if you weren't already). Mike [DeWolf, guitar] and I had a long discussion today about how to proceed with our TAPROOT videos and updates and other things, so expect more from us in the coming weeks."
