KHONSU Signs With Season of Mist

Season of Mist is proud to welcome Norwegian act KHONSU to the roster! KHONSU is the new project by the Grønbech brothers whose last musical collaboration was KEEP OF KALESSIN's highly acclaimed "Reclaim" EP, back in 2003. KHONSU delivers atmospheric, brutal and enchanting music and their forthcoming debut album, entitled "Anomalia” and blending rock, metal, and electronic elements, will definitely be a powerful entity.

"I am very pleased to enter a collaboration with Season of Mist as I’ve always had a high opinion of them - something I believe the rest of the metal world do as well”, S. Grønbech comments. "I have been working on KHONSU’s debut album for some years now and I definitely think that Season of Mist is a great label to release it through. I am looking forward to joining the ranks with legends like MAYHEM, MORBID ANGEL, SAMAEL and many others”.

Those of you who attended this year’s edition of the Inferno Festival in Oslo, Norway have probably seen the band perform live as MERAH. However, due to the recent and sad events in France involving a terrorist named Mohammed Merah, the Grønbech brothers decided to change the band’s moniker to KHONSU.
