SARAH JEZEBEL DEVA Pays Tribute to Peter Steele of Type O Negative

Vocalist Sarah Jezebel Deva (ANGTORIA, ex-CRADLE OF FILTH) posted the following tribute to TYPE O NEGATIVE frontman Peter Steele on April 14th, the second anniversary of his passing:

"Today is the anniversary of Peter's death and sadly the end of Type O as we know them. Words cannot express how that band influenced me when I first heard them when I was 15, and getting to tour with them was just a dream come true. All four of them and their amazing crew touched my heart. Met news friends also because of them. Love them or hate them, they left a HUGE legacy behind."

Peter Steele died of heart failure on April 14th, 2010 at the age of 48. Prior to his death, Steele had been enjoying a long period of sobriety and improved health and was imminently due to begin writing and recording new music.
