The Gauntlet: Linkin Park Metal News

NEW LINKIN PARK U.S. TOUR DATES


Linkin Park The first dates of the Linkin Park 2008 U.S. headlining tour have been announced. Linkin Park will be performing in Detroit, MI at the Joe Louis Arena on February 16th and in Manchester, NH at the Verizon Wireless Arena on February 18th. Coheed and Cambria will be supporting Linkin Park.

Members of the Linkin Park fan club, LP Underground, will have access to presale tickets starting November 29th at 4pm (local time). To gain access to presales, join the LPU at www.lpunderground.com now. Tickets will go on sale to the public December 1st at 10am on Ticketmaster.com.

More U.S. tour dates to be announced soon.

    Hardcore Annal Sects

Prior to Led Zeppelin, a supergroup consisting of Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, Keith Moon, and Jeff Beck was planned, but contractual red tape killed off the band. Although they recorded a few things during a single day recording session in 1966, "Beck's Bolero" is the only one to have seen the light of day.
