The Gauntlet: Limp Bizkit Metal News

Limp Bizkit Ready to Release "The Unquestionable Truth 2"

Limp Bizkit In a recent post, Fred Durst (Limp Bizkit) discussed the followup to last years flop "The Unquestionable Truth part 1".

"TUT2 will have songs that me and Ross Robinson produced with Wes on guitar as well as songs that do not have Wes on guitar. It will be a full length album and not an EP. It will be on the more aggressive side of nature and appeal to those who feed off of the heavier side of Limp Bizkit. My vocals will resemble more of the older style of vocals on earlier albums and be much more of a "limp bizkit approach" than an experimental approach, like TUT1. But I really enjoyed the place i went to on TUT1. It had a "RATM" inspired element to it. It felt natural for me and needed to get out of my head at some point, so.... I am very proud of all the music Limp Bizkit has ever made over the years and have never sacrificed my own instincts and intuitions for any song I have ever made. It is always what I truly feel, whether it is liked or not, and I can sleep at night knowing that I have and will NEVER sell out and make music or do my vocals for any reason other than my soul needing to express itself through my art. On that note, TUT2 will bring you right back to where it all started, I think, because that is where my head is at right now.

As for a tour and touring. Absolutely. I am directing my first motion picture called "The Education of Charlie Banks" right now and as soon as I finish that we will hit the road. In the meantime we will release our new album TUT2 for our family. We anticipate a warm reception once the music is exposed. I feel as if this is the one we've been waiting for.

I hope this answers a lot of your questions. I've noticed that a lot of the emails are asking the same type of things. So if your email was hoping for these details I just provided you then hit me up with something else to talk about. If your email wasn't about these things then I am busting my ass to reply to every single one of them. Please be patient. There are so many!! Thank you everyone. You have come through at the time of need and have proven that family is forever. WE RISE NOW. fred"
