The Gauntlet: Limp Bizkit Metal News

Limp Bizkit compilation album and DVD to be released in November

Limp Bizkit Limp Bizkit have covered The Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony" for a forthcoming Greatest Hits album, according to reports.

The cover is apparently set to feature on the upcoming compilation, which is entitled "Greatest Hits" and is released on November 08.

According to reports, not only will the album feature a currently untitled 'mash-up' of "Bittersweet Symphony" and Motley Crue's "Home Sweet Home", but also a reworking of George Michael's "Faith".

Amongst the other material set to feature are a number of new tracks, "Lean On Me" and "Why", plus more well known material such as "Nookie", "Rollin'" and "Break Stuff".

There will apparently be no music taken from the band's "The Unquestionable Truth" EP, which recently flopped in America. "Greatest Hits" will also be compiled on a DVD.

The tentative tracklisting is as follows:

"Counterfeit"
"Faith"
"Nookie"
"Break Stuff"
"Re-Arranged"
"N 2 Gether Now"
"My Generation"
"Rollin'"
"My Way"
"Boiler"
"Take A Look Around"
"The One"
"Eat You Alive"
"Behind Blue Eyes"
"Why"
"Lean On"
"Home Sweet Home"

Along the lines of Billy Corgan's 1999 collaboration with Mike Garson on the score for the religious horror film Stigmata, the following year Korn's Jonathan Davis collaborated with composer Richard Gibbs on the score for the film adaptation of Anne Rices's novel Queen of the Damned.
